Your fleet says a lot about you. After all, first impressions are everything. You don’t want others to see your dirty company truck flying down the highway. That is why it is important that you stress the importance of keeping clean trucks. While you at it, don’t forget the inside.
How to keep your fleet looking clean:
- Power wash the outside
- Don’t forget the tires
- Clean the inside of your windows
- Organize the inside
Power wash the outside
You don’t want a dirty truck representing you or the driver when the load is dropped off. Be sure to schedule regular cleaning of the outside with a power-washer. Especially during the winter months, you will want to get the salt from the roads off of your rig. You don’t want it to stay on too long because it can cause your truck to rust faster. Also, a good waxing will go a long way.
Don’t forget the tires
The rims on your tires are also prone to rust. Take the time to make your tires shine as they roll down the highway. You would be surprised at how many people will notice a good tire shine when it’s done right.
Clean the inside of your windows
Now, that the outside of rig is bright and shiny don’t let the inside look dirty. You will want to make sure that the inside of your window shines just as bright as the outside. Don’t let the sign of a messy rig distract from the great job you did cleaning the outside.
Organize the inside
We all know how messy the inside of a rig can get, but it doesn’t have to stay that way. You may want to suggest getting storage containers to store things away nicely.
Now, that you know what steps to take to make your rig look beautiful on the inside and out we hope that will take the extra steps to make a great first impression. After all, a potential client could be impressed with your rig’s look and you could gain some new business.
