Always make sure your tires are properly inflated before making a trip. Tire blowouts are more common when they are underinflated and excessive heat is involved. Always be sure to keep them inflated to the recommended pressure. Doing so, will keep you off the side of the road and onward to your next destination.

Check your brakes

Did you know that if your brakes are in need of replacing that the summer heat can make them even worse? So, it is crucial that replace your brakes as soon as possible to not only protect you but other drivers as well.

Be sure to protect yourself

Are you drinking enough water? Due to the extreme heat and humidity, your body will produce more sweat which in turn means loss of water for you. To avoid dehydration be sure to drink 64 oz. of water per day to stay hydrated.
